MIP Lab (Advisors: Professor Wonhwa Kim and Ilwoo Lyu) Selected as a “2025 POSTECH Healthy Lab”
Professor Wonhwa Kim and Professor Ilwoo Lyu ‘s labs each received the Excellence Award and Encouragement Award, respectively.

The Medical Information Processing Lab (MIP), led by Professor Wonhwa Kim and Professor Ilwoo Lyu of the Computer Science & Engineering , has been selected as the ‘2025 POSTECH Healthy Lab.’
‘POSTECH Healthy Lab’ is a program selected by the Human Rights Center every year to promote a culture of human rights, communication, and welfare within the lab. This year, 10 labs were selected out of 136 labs participating.
Among these, Professor Wonhwa Kim lab took 2nd place All (Excellence Award), and Professor Ilwoo Lyu ‘s lab took 6th place (Encouragement Award), both proving the excellence of the Research Affairs and Project Management culture of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering .
This selection was made based on the results of the ‘Healthy Lab Scale’ survey conducted by the POSTECH Human Rights Center since Jul., and was determined through a comprehensive evaluation of ▲participation in the on-site human rights center briefing session (additional points) ▲completion rate of violence prevention education ▲survey participation rate compared to members ▲healthy lab scale score, etc.
Both laboratories received high praise not only for Research Affairs and Project Management achievements but also for fostering an advanced Research Affairs and Project Management environment based on respect, cooperation, and a healthy communication culture among members.
